Over the last couple of months I've handed in my notice in work, rented out my room in my apartment, moved home to my Mum's house in Sutton, sold my car and finalised my travel plans to head off to New Zealand on a working holiday visa. Finishing up work on Friday really drove home to me the reality that I'm heading off in a week's time and I have to say - I can't wait! :-)
For anyone who I haven't already bored to tears about where I'm going, I leave Dublin on the 25th of June and will be visiting India, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore and Australia before I finally reach NZ. I'll be travelling for a total of 3 months before arriving in Christchurch on the 22nd of September.
I treated myself to new digital SLR camera for Christmas and am looking forward to taking lots of photos of all the cool places I'm going to visit. I'll try and publish regular posts to the blog to keep everyone updated on where I am and how I'm getting on. Feel free to email me.
